Since Hurricane Dean there has been a lot of renovations and development in the port of Costa Maya. The newest tour is the Dolphin Swim & Dolphin Encounter. They have a similar set up as in Cozumel with the submerged platforms. The one major benefit is there is no transportation as the facility is right next to the pier in Costa Maya. Observers can watch for free as the participants enjoy the experience of a lifetime with the ocean's friendliest creatures.
