So we decided to head to Josiah Bay, or J Bay, and found a wicked little beach with little to no other people. Our Landrover Jeep Tour goes here and that is about it. Nice surf spot if the swell and winds are right. Today was tight for longboard action but a few 6 footers came in so the short boarders had some action. Found I am way out of shape for surfing so we are looking to repeat visit to get back into it. Board rental is $10 an hour or $25 for 3 hours (best deal). $10 per person taxi each way. Food and service is really, really slow so maybe brown bag your snacks and booze for a budget stop. Otherwise like any other beach in Tortola...taxi ride, drinks and food adds up fast! If you want it all together take a tour if not...do it this way.
