The weather in St. Thomas was exceptional for our next adventure. Hot, sunny but windy. All the great elements for sailing. But this is not just sailing and letting the crew do the work. This is the Ondeck Sailing Adventure. Going with teams of 6 or less, your adventure starts with basic sailing lessons, i.e. tacking efficiently to increase speed. The 2 person crew on these Farr 40s can operate the boats without help but that is not the point. Your team joins the crew in the race, as once you get some tacking practice the boat positions for the start. Then heads on to a buoy to buoy race! Afterwards, you head in and have some rum punch and check out the pictures the crew take during the tour. Great fun! We took the team out and raced against each other plus a boat with guests from Carnival. Great time all around, unique tour and a must do in St. Thomas.
